What Transformation Did The Client Desire?
The client wanted to go from heavy highlight to a balayage. She also wanted a lower maintenance style, but wanted to keep her natural color as her base. She naturally pulls a gold undertone and wanted to be a cooler blonde.
What Challenges Was The Client Experiencing?
The client had a really defined line of demarcation from heavy foiling over a long period of time. She was on the gold side of blonde and had about 3-4 inches of new growth.
What Was The Salon’s Solution?
The client’s natural hair color is a really nice level 7, so Sandra used an ash tone level 7 demi-permanent color to use in between her balayage, which helps break the line of demarcation and brings down her natural hair color.
The ash tone also helps control the natural warmth and gold tones the client tends to pull. We also did a Shades EQ glosser. The glosser not only tones and puts the icy cooler tones in her hair, but it also conditions and adds shine. This technique will allow the client to go longer in between appointments. The glosser is also a great way to freshen up hair color or to keep the color tones in between color touch-ups.
