From her early days behind the chair to founding one of Amarillo's most respected salons, Lora's passion for education, excellence and growth has never wavered she is dedicated to developing empowered professionals, creating elevated guest experiences and partnering luxury brands like Oribe to bring the best to her clients and the team.

Advanced Stylist
Meet Alyssa - A talented stylist educator and leader with a heart for people and a passion for the craft. Known for her attention to detail and ability to connect, Alyssa creates personalized experiences that make every guest feel seen and valued. As a mentor and team leader she's committed to growth, both personally and professionally and loves helping others find their confidence behind the chair. With a strong foundation in education and a creative eye, Alyssa brings warmth, skill and vision to everything she does.

Known for her artistry and genuine care, Alee crafts personalized styles that enhance each guest’s natural beauty while making every visit feel comfortable, elevated, and rejuvenating. Whether she’s perfecting a blowout, refreshing color, or designing a tailored cut, Alee’s focus is always on helping her guests look and feel their absolute best.

With 40 years of experience in the beauty industry, and 27 years as a salon owner, Lora is more than a hairstylist- she's a mentor, educator, and industry leader. As the owner of The Salon she has build Amarillo's exclusive Oribe's salon, dedicated to elevating stylist through mentorship and business education.

​Renowned for her customized haircuts and color expertise, Lora's artistry and salon vision have been featured in Salon Today Magazine, Amarillo Magazine and Brick & Elm Magazine. Her commitment to excellence has earned The Salon the Business Excellence Award and Best of Business Award.
Through The Salon, she has created a career-driven environment providing stylist with hands- on education, mentorship, and business training, to ensure their long-term success.
Becky Amick
Executive Assistant
Originally from California, Becky Amick and her family made the move to Canyon just over five years ago—and she still says it’s one of the best decisions they’ve ever made!
In her free time, Becky enjoys spending time with her daughters and husband, traveling, and discovering new, delicious foods. Known for her attentiveness, she takes pride in anticipating people’s needs—often before they even say a word.
As the newest member of our team, Becky is thrilled to step into the role of Executive Assistant to Lora. She's looking forward to becoming her right hand and supporting the already amazing group here at The Salon.

With over three years in the industry, Allysa's dedication and talent propelled her to an Advanced Stylist role in under three years- an achievement that places her among the top 1% in the industry out of over one million hairstylist nationwide.
Backed by 2,500 hours of advanced education, she embodies our core values of integrity, precision and continuous growth.
Allysa is passionate about more than just hair- she creates confidence and connection with her clients. Her meticulous work ethic and personalized approach ensures a luxury experience, leaving each guest feeling empowered, refreshed, and truly valued.

Outside the salon, Alee is a devoted dog mom who loves exploring antique shops, finding hidden gems while thrifting, and spending time outdoors hiking and recharging in nature.

A proud Amarillo native, Marlen's love for beauty started in childhood and now shines in her role at The Salon.
She takes pride in supporting our stylist, assisting in social media, and creating an elevated client experience.
Beyond the salon, Marlen cherishes her role as a mother, finding fulfillment in raising her son while continuing to grow in the industry she loves. Her warmth, attention to detail and commitment to exceptional service make her an invaluable part of The Salon experience.
